What Cantesse collects, who it goes to, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
最近更新: 2026-09-07
Cantesse is operated by jinyan LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. This explains what we hold and what we do with it.
The unusual part first
To write a song about somebody, you tell us things about them: their name, what you call them, what they did for a living, the year they were born, a thing only your family knows. That is personal information about a person who is not you and who has not agreed to anything with us.
We treat it accordingly. It is used to make the one song, it is not used to train anything, it is not sold, and it is not combined with anything else we hold. If the person it is about asks us to delete it, we delete it — they do not need your permission and they do not have to explain why. Write to support@cantesse.com.
Please only tell us things you would be comfortable with that person reading, because the song is going to say them out loud.
What we collect
To make a song. Your five answers, the style you chose, and the song we made from them.
To have an account. Your email address and, if you set one, a password we store only as a hash. If you sign in with Google or GitHub, the email address and name they give us.
To take payment. Nothing. Card details go from your browser to Stripe and never touch our servers. We keep what Stripe hands back — an order id, the amount, the last four digits, the billing email.
Because a web server logs it. Your IP address and browser string, held briefly by Cloudflare, which serves this site.
How the site is used. Google Analytics, in aggregate. You can block it and nothing on the site will stop working.
Who else sees it
| Who | What they get | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Kie.ai (Suno) | The song brief, without your name or email | Generating the music |
| Stripe | Your billing email and payment details | Taking the payment |
| Cloudflare | The request, and the stored audio | Serving the site and holding the files |
| Google Analytics | Aggregate usage, no song content | Knowing which pages are read |
Nobody else. We do not sell personal information, and we have never disclosed any for money or for anything resembling money.
How long we keep it
Songs and the briefs behind them stay while your account exists, so you can come back to a song you bought. Delete your account and they go with it, within 30 days.
Order records outlive the account — tax law requires keeping them for seven years — but they are order records: an amount, a date, an email. Not the song and not what you told us about your grandmother.
Server logs are kept days, not months.
What you can ask for
A copy of what we hold. A correction. Deletion. A machine-readable export. To object to a particular use. If you are in the EU, the UK or California you have these rights in law; if you are somewhere else, you have them here anyway, because there is no good reason to treat you differently.
One address for all of it: support@cantesse.com. We answer within 30 days, usually the same week. We will not make you jump through anything, and asking will never affect your account.
Children
This is not for under-13s and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and it will be gone the same day.
Where it lives
Our servers are in the United States. Using the site from elsewhere means your information is processed there.
Changes
The date at the top is when this last changed. If a change matters — a new recipient of your data, a genuinely new use — we will email you about it rather than quietly editing the page.
